Weekend on a trip to savana durga

It started with a chickflick 'Hitch' on friday. Survived barely thru
Will Smith's attempts to prove that 'any woman can be swept off her
feet by any man'. the plot looked overstretched and corny.

Trekking has always been the most enjoyable and with weather gods
blessing, Saturday has been one of the best days in last few months.
We went on a trek to SavanaDurga. Oh no, this is not the typical
Softi's SD trek. People i know have usually been to SD and go up the
hill and get down in SD. That is quite easy, devoid of a sense of
achivement. We got down at TGHalli (40 min before SD, on the other
side of the hill actually) and trekked from 8 till 1 to reach the top.
Down to SD by 3.00 and in bangalore by 6.00.
We were very lucky not to be caught in rain during trek. It would have
been a disaster if it did. But then, when we reached blore, we see
that whole city is flooded; thats ok for us. we completed our agenda
for the day.
Slept by 12 and woke up at 12 on sunday. Sunday has been typical,
lazy. visit to library is the only worthwihle thing on sunday. After a
lousy dinner at some restaurant, reached house and slept again till
7.30 on monday.
